Spectacular. A gentle step back in time. The Le Richelieu is reason enough to visit NOLA.

Loved Le Richelieu! The rooms were beautiful, the food at the cafe was really good, the bar was lively and intimate, the location is superior with so much to do in easy walking distance, and I loved the history of the hotel and all the celebrities who have stayed there. But my favorite thing of all was the absoulutely wonderful service by all the staff. They all knew our names after the first day and greeted us very warmly every time we came through. Cannot say enough good things about how we were treated! Fantastic!

We have been making trips to the French quarter twice a year for over ten years. Found the LeRchelieu just last year. Have stayed there twice and have reservations again in September. The best kept secret in the Quarter. The staff is second to none. Thanks again for a great stay this past weekend.

Great hotel!! The staff are all friendly and accomodating. Super location. Our room was in the old part of the hotel that wasnt damaged by the hurricane and it had old world charm. It was part of the VIP suite. Small but comfortable. Wife loved the old woodwork. Mr Frank (owner) was very hospitable and just a genuine nice man. Bar is like a local watering hole and they make a mean bloody mary (perfect for the morning after Bourbon street). Will stay again. And again.

We stayed here 12/26 - 12/30 for the second year in a row. What a wonderful experience it has been both times! The staff is outstanding, and the old world charm of the facility makes it a great stay. Additionally, the frr parking in an attended lot is a HUGE plus!

Always staying are this hidden gem! Great location! Thanks to the on-site owner that Le Richelieu maintains highest standards. My wife is very fussy about dust, tobacco smoke et cetra and she has been very pleased. Plan a return visit Feb 21-24 2010.

My husband and I stayed at the Le Richelieu for a long weekend in October 2009. It is now my favorite NOLA hotel and I will be back again and again! Great location, reasonable price, wonderful staff, and just a beautiful hotel with all the wonderful New Orleans charm.

Very much enjoyed our stay at your fine hotel the end of September. Close enough to Bourbon Street without the constant noise. Staff was always courteous and helpful. I will definitely visit again and recommend to anyone else who is visiting New Orleans.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Richelieu August 8, 2009 thru August 12, 2009. As many others have said, the rates are great, the hotel is clean and quiet and very well located in the Quarter i.e. close enough but also far enough away from things. The employees are all helpful and we really appreciated the now-usual help in printing our airline boarding passes. Advice is readily available at the front desk and it was nice to converse several times with the owner, Mr. Rochefort. This is my sixth time staying at the Richelieu and we look forward to the next time. (If looking for a fun time, go to the dog park on Dauphine Street, just a few blocks NW. Fun to watch the dogs and their owners.) Glad to have been back at the hotel again !!!
