Our first trip to the LeRichelieu was totally unplanned when we arrived in New Orleans a day early and couldn't find a hotel and was not able to get into the hotel where we had reservations. It ended up being a wonderful problem because we never have found the LeRichelieu otherwise. That was in 1998. We have visited New Orleans several times since and always stay at the LeRichelieu. A trip to New Orleans wouldn't be complete without. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff is like family always making sure we are taken care of. We are planning our second trip from Iowa to New Orleans this year on Christmas Eve! We can't wait.
