My husband, daughter and I recently stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. During our 1st trip to NO we stayed at the Sheraton on Canal, but this time wanted a more 'old world' setting. Le Richelieu provided the very atmosphere we wanted...comfortable, friendly, personable, quite charming. The more isolated location gave us the opportunity to stroll through some of the little known streets and see more of the French Quarter charm without the noise and crowd. We will stay there again when tropical storm Matthew isn't dumping so much water on the city!
