Please browse our guestbook, and add an entry of your own! Name: S. Broggie Location: Camarillo, CA Date: Apr. 21, 2005 This was our first trip to New Orleans. In town for my brother's wedding in April, we had no idea what to expect. Needless to say, the French Quarter exceeded our expectations and the service we received at Le Richelieu was a big part of it. The staff was excellent! Troy was a treat. He was very helpful and funny. But watch out, he pulls no punches! The staff at the desk was always courteous and never once balked at giving us extra towels. If you want quiet, clean and just flat-out nice, this is a great place. Also, the room service was quick and the breakfast good. Plus there are two great restaurants around the corner. Angeli-On-Decatur (open 'till 4 AM!)and Irene's Cuisine (great Cajun food!) The Flea Market is only 2 blocks away. Away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon St, it only takes about 5 minutes to walk to the action. Note: if you need to take a taxi back to the hotel ;-) it's pronounced "Lay Rish-ah-loo" and the street is pronounced "Charters". If you've never been here before, and it looks on a map like it's far from everything, keep in mind that you can walk the length of the Quarter in about 20 minutes if you don't stop (which is nearly impossible because of all there is to look at!). Anyway, nice place, we'll be back. Thanks LR, for a weekend that we'll never forget. You made our 4 night stay in Vieux Carre totally awsome. We can't wait to come back.
