Our hearts are broken to hear the news out of New Orleans - where my husband and I courted, married & honeymooned at the Richelieu five years ago. Le Richelieu was one of our favorite places in the world... hiding out in the bar over glasses of Abita Amber, enjoying the entirely wonderful hospitality. Dozens of mornings we commented that Le Richelieu's comfy beds and light-obstructing curtains were a hangover's best friend. We hope, pray and despair for all of the people who made Le Richelieu 'one of a kind' and if miracles do happen, we pray that one delivers for the victims of Katrina. Todd and Susan Smart
