I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Richelieu Hotel! I stayed the week of July 31st, 2007. All of the staff and the owner were friendly and always willing to engage in a conversation. Each time I left the hotel and returned someone was there to greet me, it felt like home. If you like doors slamming, and children running around, this is NOT the place for you. HOWEVER, if you want a nice tranquil place to stay to hang out by the pool, or the terrace café & bar this is it! Without a doubt, this hotel has to be the best kept secret in the French Quarter!
