AT LAST I'M POSTING!!!! Apologies for being so late on this posting. My wife Ala and I visited out HOME away from HOME in December. We came down this time for Papa Noel. We would NOT stay anywhere else in New Orleans than Le Richelieu Hotel. This was the longest period between visit and still Herman at the bar's opening words; after hello was, "Ala you want a ... Mary and John a Heineken for you." It wasn't a question. He just knows. Michael in the restaurant and bar is still once of the kindest gentleman we've ever met. Brian and Remi........those who take the reservations, Joan Kirkpatrick Assistant Manager and Frank the owner of the hotel always make us feel so very welcome. This past few months I have had calls asking about Le Richelieu on my radio program. I'm happy to say that over the past month and a half a lovely couple and a single gentleman have stayed at Le Richelieu; because of my comments. They have e-mailed since returning and feel the same way. There aren't enough words to let the staff at the hotel how much they make us feel so welcome; when we arrive. Everyone at the hotel goes beyond the call of duty when it comes to their guests. Thank you again everyone and oh yes I found a "new" room to stay in. We have been lucky to get the McCartney suite and the V.I.P. suite in the past; but we found a real winner last time for a real reasonable price. I'm not telling. I'll let you find out on your own.
