My family and I love this hotel!! We have stayed here 2 or 3 times a year for the last several years and don't want to stay anywhere else. We were so disappointed that you weren't open in March but we look forward to our next visit to our favorite hotel in our favorite city.

Our New Orleans visit is now a wonderful, if bitter-sweet memory. As long-time visitors over 25 years, we know how New Orleans used to be, how it is now recover-ing, and how can will be again. The high point of our ten day visit was Le Richelieu Hotel, which has reopened, refurbished in pristine condition, with its unique, friendly, courteous, capable staff, and gracious owner - Frank. We enjoyed our visit immensely, brunching on the intimate Richelieu patio, walking many streets, dining at old favorites, and discussing the recent events with many residents. There are as many different stories as there people in New Orleans. Come back to New Orleans, you'll be pleased you did.

We were fortunate to have reservations that allowed us to get our room on 04/13/2006. We had a wonderful time at the reopening of the hotel. Everyone is very knowlegable about the neighboring events and amenities and also helpful about any other needs. The hotel is a gem and we had a wonderful time. I would recommend the hotel to everyone and will stay there again.

Huzzah!!! We saw this morning that Le Richelieu has announced in its website an official opening date of April 13th. Welcome back! My wife and I are looking forward with anticipation to our visit in May and counting the days.

Sunday, I came home after five days in Austin covering the South by Southwest music and media conference. One of my answering machine messages was from Le Richelieu saying the place was reopening on March 28. As much fun as I had in Austin, that message made my weekend.
