Just spent a lovely three nights at Le Richelieu. Why stay in a cookie cutter high rise hotel in a historic city like NOLA? This place has soul! Despite being close to everything, the hotel was completely peaceful and quiet - just what I wanted.

We have been staying at Le Richelieu every year for over 25 years. In fact it is something of a family tradition to stay at Le Richelieu whenever we are in NOLA. The property is beautiful and historical, yet warm and welcoming. Every return feels like we are returning home. We are headed there again this year year for Christmas in the Quarter. We'll meet you at the bar for a sazerac!

I\'m a Louisiana native that moved to Australia ten years ago. My husband had never left Australia before we took a 3 week vacation to the States a few months ago. We stayed in hotels in New York, DC and New Orleans. Le Richelieu was hands down the best of them. There was everything you could think of in our room, it was spacious and comfortable, and gorgeously decorated. I was proud to show my husband this perfect example of the Southern hospitality I grew up with!

We loved this hotel. So nice and clean with New Orleans charm. The beds are amazingly comfortable, the staff were all so nice and the bonus of self parking is great. Location is great, close to everything in French quarter. Super close to Jazz clubs that locals love!

I had the privilege of staying at Le Richelieu during the week of New Year\'s Dec 2014. The location is perfect for exploring the French Quarter as well as getting around to see the real New Orleans (not just the tourist-y areas). The front desk staff, especially Lourdes, was exceptionally helpful and friendly. I had the honor of meeting the owner, Mister Frank, who is Southern hospitality personified. Even his assistant Gabi treated me like an old friend, not just a customer. My room was clean and the bed was so comfortable that I felt selfish staying there alone. I\'ll be back.
