We just returned home after our first visit to Le Richelieu, and can promise it won't be our last. Talk about getting lucky, we feel like we stumbled onto our best hotel deal ever. Four days and three nights with nothing but positive experiences in a great room in a spotlessly clean hotel in a great location with a friendly and attentive staff. Unbelievable, but true. And all of that for less than we would have spent for one night at a "name brand" property.

Another incredible trip to New Orleans. The LeRichelieu staff made our stay perfect, for the 5th time. Our 2 room suite with French doors overlooking the pool was very comfortable, clean, and decorated beautifully. Joanne Kirkpatrick needs to train hotel managers round the world. She is delightful! Each person I come in contact with goes out of their way to make sure every detail is attended to, inobtrusively. There couldn't be better crepes anywhere than comes out of that kitchen. Reasonable food prices, free parking. The front desk staff is very attentive and helpful with any request or question, and are focused on your safe, happy stay. One suggestion: Frank, put a Jacuzzi on the southwest side of the pool; we need it after walking the Quarter. The very best value in the Quarter! Thanks so much to everyone! Lyn & Charlie Meyer

This was our first trip to New Orleans. In town for my brother's wedding in April, we had no idea what to expect. Needless to say, the French Quarter exceeded our expectations and the service we received at Le Richelieu was a big part of it. The staff was excellent! Troy was a treat. He was very helpful and funny. But watch out, he pulls no punches! The staff at the desk was always courteous and never once balked at giving us extra towels. If you want quiet, clean and just flat-out nice, this is a great place. Also, the room service was quick and the breakfast good. Plus there are two great restaurants around the corner. Angeli-On-Decatur (open 'till 4 AM!)and Irene's Cuisine (great Cajun food!) The Flea Market is only 2 blocks away. Away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon St, it only takes about 5 minutes to walk to the action. Note: if you need to take a taxi back to the hotel ;-) it's pronounced "Lay Rish-ah-loo" and the street is pronounced "Charters". If you've never been here before, and it looks on a map like it's far from everything, keep in mind that you can walk the length of the Quarter in about 20 minutes if you don't stop (which is nearly impossible because of all there is to look at!). Anyway, nice place, we'll be back. Thanks LR, for a weekend that we'll never forget. You made our 4 night stay in Vieux Carre totally awsome. We can't wait to come back.

We're coming back at the end of May and can't wait to see the Le Richelieu staff. I've said it before and I tell my radio audience all the time...."Le Richelieu is our home away from home in New Orleans." There is no other place like it for warm hospitality and personal service.

Thank you for another great Mardi Gras week! The room was great, as always, and the staff was over-the-top helpful. We appreciate all you did to make our stay the best one yet. See you next year!
