Stephanie and I visited Le Richelieu for the second time, a few weeks ago, and this time we brought two other couples with us for their first visit. The hotel and the staff were everything we had come to expect from our first visit. When we arrived at our rooms, we were pleasantly surprised to find that Joanne had upgraded all three rooms to suites. We were truly living in the lap of luxury . Everyone on the staff, including: Tasha and Lora at the front desk, the waiters in the restaurant, the bartender (who we pegged as a local the instant he said something), and the guy who walked around with the large brass ring with the single key around his neck. The key man got a kick out of our "race" in the bar, and I had to promise him that we'll do it again on our next visit. I'm sorry I didn't get his name or the name of the bartender, but I'll do better on our next trip. Le Richelieu has become our hotel of choice in the French Quarter. We're already looking forward to our next stay there.

Sandy and I picked your hotel from the many on the web listed for the French Quarter in New Orleans. We were thoroughly pleased, especially with your staff. We will certainly return to your hotel upon our next visit, and highly reccommend you to any traveling to your city.

I was married in the courtyard of Le Richelieu in August 2003. I couldn't believe how outstanding all the people who worked there were. They were so accomodating, friendly. We met so many great people while we were there and I'll never forget it. If I could have, I would never have left! The hotel really captures the essence of New Orleans. It's perfectly located-we walked everywhere. I have recommended Le Richelieu to EVERYBODY!!!! Thank you so much for making our stay and wedding so wonderful-it was without a doubt the best weekend of our lives! We'll definitely be back!

I meant to mention my thanks specificly to Tamra, Troy and also there was another very nice lady who helped us out a lot with locations, times, etc...and I'm not sure of her name! Thank you.

I've been reading rave reviews of this property, on the AOL New Orleans Travel Board, for a few years, but the weekend before last was our first opportunity to stay here. It was everything we expected and hoped it would be. The hotel just oozes New Orleans charm, from the friendly desk clerk at check-in, to the room (junior suite), to the food and the servers in the restaurant at breakfast. We're returning next weekend, with two other couples, for a birthday celebration, and I'm eager to introduce them to Le Richelieu. We're frequent visitors to New Orleans, having stayed at many of the French Quarter and Central Business District hotels, and I'd have to put Le Richelieu right at the top of desirable places to stay in New Orleans.
