We love this "little hotel". It is always our pleasure to stay here when we visit New Orleans. It is clean, quiet and the owner and staff are wonderful. We love the size and the quaintness of the surroundings, the wonderful little restaurant and bar, and the parking, a big plus for the quarter. Looking forward to our next visit, can't wait!!

Found the hotel by accident after deciding to spend New Year's Eve in New Orleans. With the Sugar Bowl that weekend and the holiday, many hotel's were booked. We drove around calling places and by luck, the Le Richelieu had a room. It was wonderful luck as we found our stay to be one of the best we've ever experienced at a hotel. The hotel is close enough to everything to be convenient but far enough that the noise of Burbon St does not intrude. The staff was excellent, very knowledgeable, friendly and accomodating. I highly recommend the hotel and am looking forward to staying there the next time I go to New Orleans.

Last week, we stayed at Le Richelieu for only 2 days prior to our cruise but we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The people we met at the hotel were the most friendly of any staff we have ever encountered in a hotel. Colleen, Pam, Troy, Tasha and all of the staff at the front desk and in the bar/restaurant made this trip pleasurable from start to finish. The Paul McCartney suite was perfect and we slept great in that wonderful bed. We only regret that time did not allow us to return for the day following our cruise, as planned, so that we could say a proper goodbye to everyone. We'll be returning soon and totally look forward to our next stay! We couldn't recommend Le Richelieu more!

I had the plesure to stay at the Le Richelieu this summer. I have to say that this hotel is one of the greatest I ever have stayed at!! And the location is excellent, nere by the Mississippi River and Bourbon Street. But the best thing is that the staff is way over the norm!! Thank you so much!! Ill be back!!!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of staying at Le Richelieu. My large room on the 4th floor was clean and extremely quiet. It allowed me to get a great night's sleep while on a short business trip. The hotel's location is also very nice: out of the crowded area of the French Quarter, yet still within walking distance to the major sights. However, the best part of my stay was the excellent service I received from the lovely young lady at the front desk (unfortunately, I didn't get her name). Her smile definitely made the stay more enjoyable! I will certainly recommend this hotel to others...
