The hotel is amazing. There are a lot of good things I'd like to say about it. First of all, it's right in the perfect spot. Go to the right, you have Jackson Square, the Ursuline Convent, and many other great locations. Go to the left, turn, and you have Cafe du Monde, a pizza restaurant, the French Market, and a streetcar stop. It's in walking distance from almost everything in the French Quarter. It's also in a quiet, but not dangerous location, which is great too.
Next, the staff. They are nice and amazing! They really take time out of their day to make sure you are accommodated. The bartender Jennifer is amazing! If the bar is not busy, she is a fun and nice person to talk to. Since I'm not old enough to drink, and I needed to stay away from caffeine at night because I can't go to sleep, she gave me a free non-alcoholic caffeine free drink! The security guards are nice too. One talked to me on the porch, and we had fun conversations!
Overall, we had a great time here, and we will come here a lot for our vacations!

Le Richelieu Hotel in the French Quarter is a great choice for location and value. The staff are friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate the recommendation made by the young woman at front desk regarding the "Cemetary and VooDoo tour." I had read about something else that sounded good but what she recommended was the perfect one. Thank you all.

Just came back from a weekend in New Orleans and a stay at the Le Richelieu... Loved loved loved it.. the service at Le Richelieu, the friendliness of all staff from the front desk clerk to the late night guard... my only concern was that my room was very cold, but they even offered a space heater for that situation ... Overall I would definitely recommend Le Richelieu for your stay in the French Quarter and I would absolutely stay there again.

I fell in love with New Orleans the first time I visited over 25 years ago. I try to get there are least twice a year and my preferred place to stay is the Richelieu. I'd say it just screams New Orleans, but the Richelieu doesn't scream, it softly states what comfort, hospitality and New Orleans is all about. I'm going again in two weeks and looking forward to my stay, as always.
