This was the first time in many visits to New Orleans we actually stayed in the French Quarter, and Le Richelieu made it a worthwhile experience. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great balcony view, and the whole staff was friendly and attentive. We'll be back for sure.

Thank you to Frank and the wonderful staff at Le Richelieu for making our stay in early August a wonderful experience! Every member of the staff was so friendly and helpful--Le Richelieu is a home away from home. Long afternoons by the pool made the mid-day heat and humidity more than bearable. We miss New Orleans already, I'm certain we will be back again and again! Le Richelieu is a real gem. Thank you all so much.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Richelieu Hotel! I stayed the week of July 31st, 2007. All of the staff and the owner were friendly and always willing to engage in a conversation. Each time I left the hotel and returned someone was there to greet me, it felt like home. If you like doors slamming, and children running around, this is NOT the place for you. HOWEVER, if you want a nice tranquil place to stay to hang out by the pool, or the terrace café & bar this is it! Without a doubt, this hotel has to be the best kept secret in the French Quarter!

Stayed there weekend of 7-28-07. It was a lovely hotel. Our room was immaculate. Every front desk employee was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. When my husband and I went out to the pool for a swim, the parking lot attendant was passing by and noticed some leaves floating in the pool. He got the skimmer and removed them. We were very impressed. This was our first stay and we will definitely stay there again on future visits.
