4th Fest at Crescent Park

4th Fest in Crescent Park brings a family-friendly event for all to enjoy in the French Market District. The free fun begins at 4:30 p.m. The live music will kick off at 5:30 p.m. in Mandeville Wharf, leading up to the 9 p.m. Dueling Barges Fireworks Show on the Mississippi River. Carry-in beverages and food allowed or enjoy the food and drink for purchase at the Mandeville and Piety Wharves. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to enjoy the show. Fireworks, firearms, ice chests / coolers, glass bottles, and tents are prohibited.

Go Fourth on the River

Thursday, July 4 at 9 p.m.
New Orleans Riverfront

The free annual fireworks show lights up the sky over the Mississippi River starting at 9 p.m. This unique salute to America’s Independence features a fireworks display over the Mighty Mississippi and can be seen from both banks of the river. The Port of New Orleans will bring out the General Roy S. Kelley fireboat again this year with its famed water show with plumes of red, white, and blue fountains beginning at 6:00 p.m. and leading up to the 9:00 p.m. fireworks show.
